Contest Time! These are the unofficial official (?) rules for the summertime shoot! Group 1, if you haven't already, meet your judges!! I'm SUPER stoked to have all 3 of them!
Doug Corella is a kickass musician, inspiring teacher, lover of meat, and, frankly, maybe the most handsome sonofabitch I've ever seen. What does he know about children's photography? Unapologetically, nothing at all. But he toured Europe with KISS. He knows what 'kickass' is.
THE RULES!
OK, I'm going to try to make this not confusing. Each judge is going to pick their favorite photo (number 1), a second-place photo (number 2), and a third-place photo (number 3). In a perfect scenario, each judge will have different picks as their number 1 photos, and those three will be the finalists. HOWEVER, if there is first-place tie (from 2 or even all of the judges), it will go to their SECOND-PLACE photo, and (a very long shot!) on to the THIRD-PLACE photo, if necessary. If that happens, there is a possibility of FOUR FINALISTS, which is unavoidable because I don't want to rank the judges. Believe me, I've been trying to figure this out for a week, and I'm pretty good at math!
THE FINALISTS!!
The three (or possibly four) finalists will have until Sunday, Sept.7th at 10:00 pm (central) to get as many SHARES (and have your peeps comment 'shared!' on the photo, too, in case of any confusion) of that photo as they can. I'll explain more in depth to the finalists.
PLEASE NOTE: ONE PRIZE PER FAMILY! IF TWO (OR MORE) KIDS ARE SELECTED FROM THE SAME FAMILY, WE WILL GO ON TO THE JUDGES' 2ND AND/OR 3RD PLACE PHOTOS, SINCE THERE IS ONLY ONE PRIZE PER FAMILY!
SECOND NOTE: I am only having the judges judge the individual photos, not the group ones. After consideration, we felt it wasn't fair to the singles. Thanks!
